This phenomenon, in my opinion, should be viewed as a bad development because people will typically focus on new products and forget many traditionally important objects.
It is a marketing tactic used to entice more clients, which is the main reason why so many new inventions are highlighted in the advertising. In other words, a brand constantly intrigues people when new products with new features are introduced. Along with a certain product becoming well-liked, a brand’s other products also gain popularity. A food manufacturer, Diamon Grains, claims that this is obvious because other varieties of snacks sold under its name gain more popularity when new flavors of snacks are launched.
Nevertheless, it should be seen as a bad development when advertisements for products highlight new features. This is due to the fact that original products will eventually be replaced by the most recently developed goods, meaning that they won’t be around to be seen. As a result, cultures lost a number of priceless items. For instance, it can be challenging to find authentic Thai desserts in Bangkok. Italian pudding, chocolate cake, and boba tea, on the other hand, are very popular.’
In order to capture consumers’ attention, several businesses are attempting to represent new characteristics of their products. This activity has the potential to destroy cultural goods in a disastrous way. Therefore, I think that this is unquestionably a bad development.
