Role of neglecting mothers in juvenile delinquency.

Present a written argument or case to an educated reader with no specialist knowledge of the following topic:

The position of women in society has changed markedly in the last twenty years. Many of the problems young people now experience, such as juvenile delinquency, arise from the fact that many married women now work and are not at home to care for their children. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Sample Solution

Juvenile offenses have significantly increased in recent years. Some of them blame working mothers who struggle to educate their children since they are employed and unable to spend a lot of time with their sons or daughters. I reject this idea because it does nothing to advance the cause of working women as a whole. When I see working women straying from their parental duties, I do, however, have some reservations.

First off, especially in the recent two decades, there has been significant growth in women’s education and subsequent work. Because of the government’s liberal policies and the effects of globalization, every family’s economic situation has improved. Given the spiraling costs of education, there is no room for doubt when women are actively involved in contributing to their children’s education. Additionally, everyone wants to enroll their kids in the best possible school. They had to put in a lot of effort while keeping the child’s future in mind. The majority of working women’s schedules are consumed by their jobs, but they spend less time with their children. Therefore, without the supervision of their mothers or other responsible adults, children adopt bad habits and make terrible friends, which makes them shoplifters or other small-time criminals.

However, it becomes clear from analyzing the behavior of petty criminals that not all of their mothers are employed. This demonstrates that we cannot place the blame for encouraging such despicable habits in their children just on the working women’s group. Furthermore, according to a number of child psychologists, a child’s environment might influence how their mentality develops. If a child is left alone, he or she will undoubtedly start looking for a companion or turn to virtual buddies online to help them get over their loneliness. Such behavior serves as a precursor to the subsequent horrible deeds.

In conclusion, it is absurd to hold working women responsible if their children veer off course and go in a different direction. The issue must be avoided by closely observing the child’s friend group because it negatively affects his behavior and activity. The child requires mental health help if his attitude even appears slightly strange. But a child’s loneliness is what first draws them to these behaviors. They must therefore be supervised, for whatever reason. Will that accomplish its goals?
