Model Solution [IELTS Essay on Exercise]
It has been observed that a large population is so occupied with official work that they get no time for physical activities during weekdays; consequently, their health suffers. This essay will explore some of the causes of this trend and recommend some feasible solutions.
One of the primary issues is that office workers primarily focus on completing their work tasks over the long term, leaving them too exhausted to exercise after work. Even if they have free time on the weekend or during the weekdays, they will only want to relax after a long week. This also leads to the second reason, which is that everyone enjoys social media platforms like TikTok and Facebook. After a long workday, most employees would rather stay in bed and use their phones instead of exercising because these apps relax and entertain them. Due to their lack of physical activity, employees have a high risk of developing obesity, backaches, and other strength problems.
Consequently, one solution to this issue is to strike a balance between work and leisure. Each week, office workers must also organise a workout or yoga class. Some YouTube channels offer 5-minute or 10-minute training classes for them to practise at home if they are too busy. In addition, they can improve their health by taking the stairs instead of the elevators in their workplace.
In conclusion, individuals must perform the exercise because it not only improves their fitness but also helps them focus on their work.
