It will give them a competitive edge over those who did not use computers or tablets in their early years.
On the downside, this trend promotes isolation and loneliness among young people, which is not good. They may lose opportunities to develop social relationships and team building which could be better acquired from conventional and physical sports with their peers. In addition, there is growing proof that it can have unfavourable health impacts. A research study in the media declares that it can harm a child’s eyes when looking at screens for long periods. Studies also suggest that children using these devices might have more trouble sleeping, which is crucial for psychological advancement.
In conclusion, the limitations of allowing children to use tablets and computer systems outweigh the associated benefits. It is a kind of preparing for uncertain future skills which are paid for with the sacrifice of well-being, socialisation and not pursuing their passion.
