Sample Solution

The value of higher education is frequently questioned in today’s highly competitive market when people struggle to achieve in their professional lives. Some claim that institutions should work to give their students the skills they need to land jobs while improving their employees’ abilities. On the other hand, many people disagree with it and think their goal is to give them the information they need for the subject they selected. I firmly believe that educational institutions should put a great emphasis on knowledge transmission.

For various reasons, some people believe that higher education should concentrate on giving students the skills they need for the workplace. First off, because professional environments are so competitive, a lot of people decide to enrol in college to earn credentials that will set them apart from other job candidates. For instance, the candidate with the most impressive resume and courses related to the position has a better chance of being hired during a job interview. Second, because some educational institutions receive financial support from employers and other businesses in the form of scholarships or contributions, they want the freedom to influence their curricula to ensure that graduates will be more qualified workers.

Contrarily, many believe colleges should continue to serve as educational institutions and concentrate on giving their students access to unadulterated knowledge. If schools only cared about preparing kids for the workplace, education would eventually suffer as a result. Additionally, education should foster values like fairness and integrity that will enable graduates to become valuable members of society in addition to giving them theories and scientific data.

The purpose of colleges is a fiercely contested topic, with some claiming that they should focus on preparing students with the necessary skills to thrive in the workforce and others believing that education should be about intellectual growth. In my opinion, the promotion of science is education’s most important function.
