Resources have been spent to protect wild animals and birds

Some people claim that too much focus and resources have been spent to protect wild animals and birds. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Model Solution

It is argued by Some that too much attention and funding is given to the protection of wildlife. While others believe that it is essential to maintain the balance of the ecosystem by preserving flora and fauna. This essay will discuss both perspectives and give my opinion.

On one hand, some people argue that the resources spent on wildlife protection could be used for other purposes such as improving human living conditions. For instance, in developing countries, the lack of access to basic necessities such as clean water, food, and shelter are critical issues that require attention. Therefore, directing funds and attention toward the protection of animals and birds seems unjustifiable.

On the other hand, preserving wild animals and birds is crucial for maintaining the balance of nature. Many species play an important role in the ecosystem and are critical for pollination, seed dispersal, and maintaining food chains. The loss of species could result in imbalances in the environment and have detrimental effects on the survival of other species, including humans.

In conclusion, while some believe that resources spent on wildlife protection are excessive, I believe that preserving wildlife is important for the balance of nature and the survival of other species. It is crucial that we take steps to reduce the damage caused by human activity to the environment and protect the remaining wildlife.
